Housing Solutions Network is partnering with all six Port Townsend City Council candidates for an important and timely forum on housing coming up on Saturday, July 17 from 3-5pm. The public is invited to take part in this unique event, located in downtown Port Townsend at the Cotton Building. The forum will be moderated by Housing Solutions Network and will also be broadcast live on KPTZ and on a Facebook livestream on Housing Solutions Network’s page. The public is invited to submit questions ahead of time for the candidates here.
Housing issues have dominated conversations throughout our region, with concern rising over how to care for unsheltered individuals and how our economy will recover with an ever dwindling amount of housing that is affordable for local workers. HSN will touch on each part of this spectrum of housing needs, but with a special focus on workforce housing. Housing Solutions Network is a Jefferson County-based initiative to engage community members in powering new solutions for affordable housing.
