(first airdate: August 2, 2016) A NEW PARK FOR SPARKY THE WONDER HORSE (& FRIENDS) Our Town Host Maryanne McNellis interviews Kim Hunt, board member of the Jefferson Equestrian Association. The group just received approval for Jefferson County’s first horse park. Like many others, Hunt currently rides her horse Spartacus (aka Sparky) along the Larry Scott Trail. The talented and considerate Sparky has been trained to step off the trail and into the bush when he needs to relieve himself. Hikers rejoice! The new park will be open to all – no horse required.
