Larry Dennison Joins the Board of Directors

KSEDzsZKPTZ is pleased to welcome our newest Board Member, Larry Dennison. You may know Larry most recently from his bygone but well-loved Dos Okies BBQ, which he co-owned with DJ Ron McElroy. Since moving to Port Townsend in 1974 Larry has been a vital and active member of this community. He has served on boards including the Jefferson Land Trust, Port Townsend Merchants Association, Port Townsend Planning Commission, and the Peninsula Development Council–to name a few. Professionally, Larry was elected Jefferson County Commissioner from 1984-1992, and has had a major hand in the following local businesses: the Town Tavern, Puffin Shoe Repair, Port Townsend Baking Co., Coyote Found Candles, and of course Dos Okie Barbeque. In his spare time Larry enjoys fly fishing, gardening, cooking, reading, writing, and story-telling.

Please join us in giving Larry a warm welcome to KPTZ’s Board of Directors. Welcome, Larry!
