KPTZ announces the debut of Cats in Our Laps, hosted by Tossed Salad’s Phil Andrus. Two hours of music, short readings, and conversation. Open to humans and cats of all ages and critters of all species. On Sundays from 8-10pm, starting July 5.
The debut of Cats in Our Laps features readings from Aldo Leopold’s A Sand County Almanac read by his great-grandson, Peter Leopold Freeman, who also brings his piano artistry to the show. In the second hour, Phil will invite listeners to join in conversation about the comfort the outdoor world brings us in these pandemic times – whether outdoors in our backyards, in more wilderness settings, or on the water. If other matters are on your mind, you are welcome to add them to that conversation.
