Fresh from its U.S. premier at the 2019 PT Film Festival, KPTZ celebrates a film whose subjects live here in town. Rocky Friedman, owner of The Rose theater, and Ward Serrill, local film director, have created the documentary film The Bowmakers, which describes a world where five craftsmen specialize in a centuries-old trade of making and repairing string instrument bows. You can see The Bowmakers again at The Rose starting Friday, September 27.
